RS meeting this Thursday, Nov. 17th at 7pm. We will be discussing the topic "Happy Marriage" and will have some sisters address us. Please bring your wedding album so we can look through them during dinner. Child care will be provided and a light dinner of soup and salad will be provided. Some of you have signed up to bring either Salad, Rolls or Dessert but if there are some of you that didn't get a chance to sign up and would like to bring something, please send an email with what you will bring. It will be a wonderful evening. Remember to let those you visit teach about it too!

Relief Society Presidency Message

The message of the RS lesson this week is:
Be a Better Person
In General Conference Oct 2002, Pres Hinckley left us with this counsel:

Gordon B. Hinckley

"I, for one, have made a stronger resolution within myself to be a better person than I have been in the past. I hope that I will be a little kinder to any I meet who may be in distress. I hope that I will be a little more helpful to those who are in need. I hope that I will be a little more worthy of your confidence. I hope that I will be a better husband, a better father and grandfather. I hope that I will be a better neighbor and friend. I hope that I will be a better Latter-day Saint, with an increased understanding of the wonderful aspects of this glorious gospel.
"We can lower our voices a few decibels. We can return good for evil. We can smile when anger might be so much easier. We can exercise self-control and self-discipline and dismiss any affront levied against us."

Time to Roll back the Rolex Ladies!

Spring forward -- Fall back.
That means, since it's now the fall season, owners of clocks and watches should plan to let them "fall back" one hour this weekend as Daylight Saving Time 2011 comes to an end.

The official time change is 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6. Move your clocks and watches back one hour before going to bed Saturday night, to make sure you are not late for church services or other Sunday morning activities. We get an extra hour! See you Sunday!
