182nd Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

Members and others around the world are invited to participate in the 182nd Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to be held on March 31 and April 1, 2012.

The four general sessions will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. mountain daylight time. The priesthood session will be held on Saturday, March 31, at 6:00 p.m. mountain daylight time.

In addition, this conference, Church leaders are encouraging new ways of participating through the newly created “Invite Others” section of gc.lds.org.

May we all be uplifted and edified as we watch and listen to our leaders this weekend. Let us all make an effort to invite others to, "come and listen to a Prophet's voice and hear the word of God".

Sunday March 25th Lesson Teaching For Our Time

"The Hearts of the Children Shall Turn" by Elder David A. Bednar

In this talk, Elder Bednar invites the members of the church to learn about and experience the Spirit of Elijah.
The prophet Joseph Smith declared, "The greatest responsibility in this world that God has laid upon us is to seek after our dead." As members of the church, we have the covenant responsibility to search out our ancestors and provide for them the saving ordinances of the gospel.

We are blessed to live in a wonderful time where technology is easily accessible. FamilySearch and other resources can help us to fulfill our responsibilities as members of the church to seek out our dead.
